Coordination of humanitarian aid in SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL

The operative implementation of relief measures of humanitarian aid overseas is a task of the individual member organisations within the network of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL. However, the network offers possibilities for cooperation with an intensive exchange of information and joint reconnaissance missions up to joint project offices in the crisis-hit regions. The Rapid Response Group (SRRG) of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL was initiated in order to structure this cooperation, the operative management of which is respectively based in a "Leading organisation". At present this is ASF-Dansk Folkehjaelp. Thus, for example, rescue dog groups, mobile ambulance stations as well as relief goods (tents, blankets, etc.) from the participating member organisations can be jointly used in the crisis-hit regions within 72 hours.
