In order to intensify and encourage the co-operation between the member organisations of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL, the ASB Germany offers the opportunity of an international six-months voluntary service.
Any individual from 18 years onwards can apply to carry out the social voluntary service in different institutions of SAINT partner organisations abroad.
The programme is managed jointly by the ASB Germany and the IFL network "International voluntary services for different stages in life", and is furthermore part of a study of the Federal Ministry for family affairs.
Within the framework of this programme, a co-operation project with the Lithuanian Samaritan organisation has already started in 2005.
In 2006, the project is running in Lithuania from the beginning of May until the end of October.
Deadline for applications is 17th February 2006.
