The Europe-wide network of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL offers the unique opportunity for sending rescue service employees and volunteers to other member organisations of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL for internships lasting several weeks. The programme provides trainees with first-hand experience of the workings of other rescue systems, gives them the opportunity to establish new contacts and to use the knowledge acquired during their traineeship for their work at home.
Initially the programme is implemented as pilot project of the member organisations Weißes Kreuz from South Tyrol (WK), Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Austria (ASBÖ) and Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Germany (ASB).
We are now seeking branches and rescue stations of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL which are prepared to give trainees an insight into their work.
Applications of rescue stations If you are one of the participating member organisations and can offer internships you will find the application form and all necessary information for download in the blue box below.
The application form has to be filled out and sent to the general secretariat of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL. All information will be published on this website.
Application of trainees Those who wish to apply for an internship may select up to two rescue stations and make an application via the general secretarial office of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL.
