Medical Service Market

Medical services at large events often lead to capacity bottlenecks at local Samaritan organisations. Then it certainly makes sense to look for support from neighbouring Samaritan organisations if you do not want to refuse every large request straight away owing to a lack of capacity. Especially as the large events such as international matches, car races, rallies and concerts of international stars, are the ones which are most appealing for the voluntary task forces.

The communication with the foreign visitors to international events can turn out to be more difficult. Here, it can be really useful to have foreign Samaritans, who speak a joint operational language and can communicate with participants of the events in their respective national language.

The medical service market of SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL was set-up so that those interested in a joint assignment outside of their local field of activity and those looking for support can find each other. Simply complete the form of the medical service market as far as possible. We shall publish all offers for assistance/requests for support, which are entered by Samaritan organisations in the medical service market in the SAMARITAN-News and in the affiliated email services of the member organisations. Major events of all kinds pose many various risks, the implications of which may be dramatic in a chain of unfortunate circumstances or insufficient prevention. In order to assist the local responsible persons and the medical organisations in practice ASB has developed a medical service manual (PDF file, 935 KB) which is now available in the fourth revised edition. The manual informs on legal aspects and is above all the help in practice to prepare risk analyses and concrete plans for the deployment of the medical service staff.
