Working times and staff requirements:

- from 10.05. until 23.05. 4 lifeguards

- from 24.05. until 27.06. 6 lifeguards

- from 28.06. untl 31.08. 11 lifeguards

- from 01.09. until 15.09. 6 lifeguards


Free accomodation, all clothes and 20,- EUR per day will be offered.

ASB RV Kiel, Germany, is looking for helpers for the Kieler Woche 2007

from 15 - 24 June 2007

From 15 until 24 June, 2007, the greatest sailing event in the world and the biggest summer festival in Northern Europe will be welcoming guests from all over the world. Top class sailors will be having exciting competitions on Kiel Fiord.

The ASB in Kiel, Germany, will be carrying out the medical service at several events and needs support of medical service helpers of any qualification. The medical service will mainly be provided at the weekend on Fridays and Saturdays.

Board and lodging:

Board and lodging (in shared rooms) is supplied by the ASB in Kiel. Helpers should bring their own sleeping bags to Kiel.

Travel costs:

The travel expenses are reimbursed by the ASB Kiel.

Medical service in the youth camp "Brazil"  in Schleswig Holstein directly on the coast:

Accompany young people between 12 and 17 on trips and other activities.

The helpers have to travel on their own. Accomodatoin (tent) and catering are free. Helpers are requested to bring along their own sleeping bags.

Two helpers per day with a training as medical assistant are needed from the SAINT member organisations.

World Cup 2006 in Frankfurt / Main, Germany

Medical service at the  MainArena

9 June until 9 July 2006

The MainArena remains open during the whole World Cup.

All matches will be showed on a large. More than 35,000 visitors are daily expected. The MainArena is open from 11.00 to 1.00.

Besides the transmission area there are the FanArena and a catering area. About 130 helpers per day are required. The ASB in Frankfurt is carrying out the operation in cooperation with the German Red Cross.

Helpers from the SAINT member organisations with the following training are required:

  • 60 helpers for medical services
  • 20 rescue helpers
  • 20 paramedics
  • 2 emergency doctors
  • 10 operation staff with experience on the command level (squad leader)

Vehicles:

  • 5 type B ambulances (EN 1789)
  • 10 type C ambulances (EN 1789)

Other vehicles:

  • 5 vans for patient transportation

Other rescources:

  • 25 radio sets (2 metres)

Accomodation:

  • 80 places in shared rooms
  • 20 places in double rooms

The helpers have to travel on their own and have to provide their own service clothing. If necessary, alternative uniforms are provided. Accomodation and catering are free. Helpers receive hourly rates for their service.

Support of the rescue service

The rescue service has to be reinforced during the whole World Cup. Paramedics for the ambulances are required. Temporary employment contracts are offered for the period of 4 to 12 weeks.

Helpers from the SAINT member organisations with the following training are required:

  • 20 paramedics

Helpers have to travel on their own. Service clothing will be provided. Accomodation will be provided for the period of the event.

Museum festival in Frankfurt / Main, Germany

One of the biggest folk festivals on the riverside of the Main with up to 3 million visitors. The ASB Frankfurt Höchst is carrying out the medical service during this 3-day-event.

Helpers from the SAINT member organisations with the following training are required:

  • 40 helpers for medical services
  • 5 rescue helpers
  • 5 paramedics
  • 1 emergency doctor
  • 6 section leader
  • 2 squad leader

Vehicles:

  • 3 typy C ambulances (EN 1789)
  • 1 van for passenger transportation

Other resources:

  • 10 radio sets ( 2 metres)

Accomodation:

  • 50 places in shared rooms
  • 5 places in double rooms

The helpers travel on their own and have to provide their own service clothing. Additional clothing can be provided if necessary. Accomodation and catering are provided by the ASB Frankfurt. Helpers are paid hourly rates.

Kieler Woche 2006

From 17 until 26 June, 2006, the greatest sailing event in the world and the biggest summer festival in Northern Europe will be welcoming guests from all over the world. Top class sailors from around 50 countries will be having exciting competitions on Kiel Fiord.

In cooperation with other welfare organisations the ASB in Kiel, Germany, will be carrying out the medical service at several (large) events with the help of medical service helpers, patient transport vehicles and ambulances. Furthermore, the ASB will sometimes even be in charge of all medical service operations.

The medical service will mainly be provided at the weekend and during the evenings.

World Cup 2006

The ASB state association North-Rhine Westfalia in Germany is looking for volunteers of SAINT branches for the medical service at various stadiums in the Bundesland during the World Cup 2006.

The helpers should be trained as Sanitätshelfer (first aid helpers), helpers to take care of visitors who need assistance, Rettungshelfer (helpers in rescue service), Rettungssanitäter (emergency medical technicians), Rettungsassistenten (paramedics) or should have a comparable qualification. The helpers must have a good command of German. Knowledge in English or other foreign languages is advantageous.

Furthermore, vehicles according to EN 1789 are requested such as patient transport vehicles and ambulances and vans for passenger transportation.
